HFB Podcast
What is a Podcast Anyway?
You can think of a podcast like an audio version of a magazine subscription. You sign up for the service and then when new HFB pieces are available, the files will automatically download to your computer and/or portable MP3 player.
What do I need?
You DON’T need an iPod although you can certainly listen to podcasts on your iPod. What you do need is a piece of software called a podcast receiver. Some of the most commonly used podcast receivers appear below.
- iTunes: You can manage your podcast subscriptions directly in iTunes the same way you manage your playlists. iTunes is free and works with both Macintosh and Windows computers.
- Juice: Juice is free and works with Windows XP, Mac OSX, and Linux.
There are also a number of online services you can use including: Odeo, PodNova, MyYahoo, and Google.
